BASIC HANDGUN SAFETY AND SHOOTING
By appointment ONLY!
Excellent course for the novice man or woman as well as a refresher
(must be 21 years old).
Course involves student hands on training with revolver and instructs on the following subjects.

• Basic safety rules in the safe handling of a firearm.
• Responsibility of owning a firearm.
• Briefing on the firearms laws in the State of North Carolina.
• Identification of proper handgun type, size and caliber.
• Load, function and unload the handgun using training ammunition in classroom.
• Trigger pull and control.
• Handling misfires and clearing malfunctions.
• Shooting stance.
• Grip
• Dominate eye identification and use.
• Proper use of sights.
• Live fire exercises on range under the direction of instructor. (? Meet range instructor)

This course is two hours. We supply ear, eye protection and targets for this class.

The student is responsible for the firearm and ammunition. If the student does not own a handgun they can rent one of our rental guns for $8.00, ammunition sold separately. We can give you a recommendation on buying a handgun depending on size, caliber and purpose.

The fee is $60.00 preregistration is required. Call for the next class date and time.

ONE-ON-ONE PERSONAL SHOOTING INSTRUCTION

A good follow up to the basic handgun safety & awareness course.

Review the following subjects in classroom.

• Shooting stance.
• Grip
• Dominate eye identification and use.
• Proper use of sights.
• Trigger pull and control.

ON THE RANGE LIVE FIRE & BUILDING THE SHOOTERS CONFIDENCE

The instructor will post a target and give one-on-one personal instruction as you actually fire your handgun under his command. Instruction will enable you to see and use your sights more correctly and effectively enable you to shoot much tighter groups. The instructor will show you how to practice on your own improving yourself (gearing up for self-protection). (? Meet range instructor)

This course is one hour. We supply ear, eye protection and targets for this class.

The student is responsible for the firearm and ammunition. If the student does not own a handgun they can rent one of our rental guns for $8.00, ammunition sold separately. We can give you a recommendation on purchasing a handgun depending on size, caliber and purpose.

The fee is $75.00 preregistration is required. Call for the appointment date and time availability.

BASIC SEMI AUTOMATIC HANDGUN
SAFETY & AWARENESS
By appointment ONLY!
For the person who wishes to upgrade to semi automatic handgun (must be 21 years old).
Course involves student hands-on training with semi auto handgun and instructs on the following subjects.

• Safety rules in the handling of a firearm.
• Responsibility of owning a firearm.
• Briefing on the firearms laws in the State Of North Carolina.
• Identification of handgun type, size and caliber.
• Operation of the semi automatic handgun.
• Load, function and unload the semi auto handgun using training ammunition in classroom.
• Handling misfires, clearing jams & malfunctions.
• Shooting stance.
• Grip
• Dominate eye identification and use.
• Proper use of sights.
• Trigger pull and control.
• Live fire exercises on range under the direction of instructor. (? Meet range instructor)

CLEANING AND CARE OF YOUR FIREARM

This course gives hands-on instruction in proper cleaning and care for your firearm.

CLASSROOM (1 Hour)

• Instructed on proper cleaning tools and products.
• Chemical precautions.
• Disassemble your handgun, shotgun or rifle and you are instructed on the proper cleaning techniques under the direction of the instructor.
• Reassemble your firearm under the direction of the instructor.

We supply all the cleaning materials and tools needed for this class. We also can make a recommendation on buying your own cleaning kit and materials so you will be able to do the job safely and correctly.

The fee is $40.00 preregistration is required. Call for the appointment date and time availability.

ADVANCED DEFENSIVE WEAPONS & AMMUNITION CLASS
We intend for you to win, not become a victim.

This course is for the experienced shooter who wishes to learn advanced techniques in defending themselves or family at home or during their daily or nightly travel with handgun and shotgun. Course is limited to 4 students per class.

Course involves student hands on training with revolver, semi auto handgun and shotgun and instructs on the following subjects. (? Meet range instructor)

CLASSROOM (2 Hours)

• North Carolina Common Law When legally justified to use deadly force protecting yourself, family or other person.
• Insurance /defending yourself in court.
• Knowing your surroundings.
• Operation of speed loaders with a revolver.
• How to load and function your weapon in low light or darkness.
• Night sight awareness.
• Shooting in darkness with flashlight.
• Being in control of your weapon.
• Instinctive / point shooting.
• Utilizing cover.
• Being smooth and calm verses fast and nervous.
• Ballistics on defensive ammunition.
• Weapon retention.
• Home defense shotgun

RANGE SHOOTING (2 Days total 4 hours)

DIFFERENT SHOOTING POSITIONS

• Standing (Weaver Stance)
• Kneeling
• Prone
• Shooting from cover
• Shooting drills (Tightening your groups)
• Drawing from concealed holster
• Ready gun
• Draw to ready gun
• Two hand strong, one hand
• Reloading drills
• Two shoot drills. (Using sights and instinctive / point shooting)
• Muzzle flash technique
• Total darkness with flashlight
• Shooting with the weak hand
• Shooting the shotgun defensively
• Combat loading the shotgun
• Automatic verses pump shotgun.

HANDGUN AND SHOTGUN WILL BE SHOT ON THE FOLLOWING

• Moving targets (good guy / bad guy)
• Normal light and low light conditions (stationary and moving targets)
• Stationary and moving targets under blue light conditions
• Hostage targets stationary, moving, normal light and low light conditions.

We supply ear, eye protection and all targets for this class. (Bring note taking material).
