Effective 01/14/2008 Handgunners Inc. Indoor Shooting and Training Facility of Burlington, NC will change our method of operation.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
The following operational changes have been brought about due to the increase in violent crimes, gang activity with threats, and securing our range against the criminal element. We have seen an influx of people, who are not in our country legally or not a United States Citizen, attempt to come into our facility desiring to rent guns, attempt to purchase a firearm, bring in their firearm wanting to shoot on the range, or register into one of our classes. Also, a number of people who are of the criminal element who cannot legally possess a firearm under Federal or North Carolina Firearms Laws have attempted to come into our facility and attempt to rent guns and utilize the range. The North Carolina Judicial System and the Federal Government are not even slowing these problems down let alone stopping them. We intend to stop it at the front door. Having a safe and controlled shooting environment and taking these extra measures with added security for the law abiding citizens is safer and more important to us. Based on our years of experience working in law enforcement and our years of experience handling and instructing classes on firearms, a line has been drawn here with a high standard of safety along with the safe regard and well being for others at this facility.
Anyone who feels they cannot meet and maintain this standard needs to go no further.
The retail section of our facility will continue to operate as it is now open to the general public requiring any and all people including Law Enforcement to observe the sign posted on the front door directing everyone wishing to enter to closely and thoroughly read the yellow posters which are posted on the wall at the front entrance.
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS ON THIS. ANYONE WHO CHOOSES NOT TO TAKE THE TIME AND HAVE THE PATIENCE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND OR LIGHTLY SCAN THROUGH THIS POSTED INFORMATION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INSIDE. THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
The front entrance door is equipped with an electric lock.
Time is needed for you to be properly identified.
Not a Member or Possess a Range Usage Card?
I want to come inside and inquire about the indoor range or shooting supplies.
I want to purchase or rent a firearm for the purpose of familiarization of a desired make and model before I purchase.
I want to learn how to properly and safely use a firearm and get some recommendations on a purchase.
I want to take the NC CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT CLASS.
Come to the front entrance of the range, comply with the sign on the bottom of the front door, read the four posters and wait to be identified or contact us by telephone or email and we will assist you with the necessary information or enroll you in a class as soon as possible.
Anyone who wishes to utilize the indoor firing range will be required to possess and show a range I D membership card or a range usage card. Members will be allowed to bring guests. See the information on range rates.

Why do I have to have a membership or a range usage card?
Handgunners Inc. is making the necessary changes in its daily range operations to establish a safe and secure environment on the firing line. We are being selective, screening the people wishing to utilize the indoor range, by requiring advanced application with personal references supplying the requested information necessary for background history checks.
What is this membership or a range usage card giving me?
It will provide you with an extra sense of security from the unsafe and unwanted, illegal and criminal element. Members receive discounts on firearms sales and range ammo. See the membership benefits on range rates page.
What is this going to Cost me and what are the benefits?
One Years Membership $200.00
Six Months $125.00.
Range Usage Card $25.00 First Visit. Additional visits $20.00 per if utilizing our range ammunition.

How do I get a membership?
Click Here to Download a Membership Application Range Usage Card. from our web site or pick one up at our facility. You can fill it out on site during our regular business hours or fill in the necessary information and submit it by mail or hand deliver it to the facility. You will be notified of an interview date at our earliest. You will be required to produce your drivers’ license with photo ID at your interview.
EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO STOP AND READ THE SIGNS THOROUGHLY THAT ARE POSTED IN YELLOW AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE BEFORE THEY ARE ALLOWED INSIDE
NO ALCOHOL OR ANY IMPAIRING SUBSTANCES WILL BE ALLOWED ON OUR PROPERTY. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE WITH ANY ODOR OF ALCOHOL OR IMPAIRING SUBSTANCES ON THEIR BREATH OR PERSON.
