Competition Shooting (DELAYED)

DUTY/DEFENSE COMBAT HANDGUN COMPETITION
Pistol Matches will be held the 2nd Thursday of each month

STARTING DATES WILL BE

Registration begins at 6:30 pm
Pistol Match starts promptly at 7:00 pm

This competition is open to the public and all law enforcement

WEAPONS (DUTY/DEFENSE TYPE GUN ONLY - NO CUSTOM MATCH PISTOLS)
Unmodified / unaltered double action revolvers
Unmodified / unaltered semi-automatic double action / single action handguns
Unmodified / unaltered semi-automatic 1911 style handguns
 

SIGHTS:  Factory sights or factory replacement night sights. No optical sights, lasers, or ribbed sights allowed
 

GRIPS:  Factory or reproduced factory replacement grips (rubber). No bulky custom wood grips
 

This competition is designed with real life situations in mind.

NRA Police Competition was started in the 1950's for the purpose of further handgun training. Shooting in competition is not always about who is going to win 1st Place. Shooting competition will give you some of the best training that you will ever get. Shooting your weapon under instructions from over a loud speaker and being put under time produces stress. It's always good practice but shooting under stressful conditions will give you an edge in real life situations. Our competition will be shot on stationary and moving targets, in daylight conditions and low light conditions with blue lights and siren.
 

I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING!
I'm not going to try this; I will probably get beat. Tonight or tomorrow you could be met with a deadly threat on your life or your family or your partner and you could get beat.
 

Entry Fee: $8.00 per match.
 Prizes to be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Place
