SHOOTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Nobody is allowed on the firing line with a firearm that does not have proper shooting experience and a safe working knowledge of the firearm they intend to shoot including Revolver or Semi Automatic Handgun, 22 Caliber Rifle or Shotgun.

INSTRUCTION OF OTHERS:  Due to the amount of damage inflicted to our range equipment, target carriers and exposing others to the potential dangers of improper supervision we do not permit anyone to instruct another person on our range.  We will be glad to register them in a class.

Utilization Of Our Range Requires One Of The Following. 

• A Range Usage Card (Pay Per Visit)

• One Year Membership

• Six Month Membership

CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK

We will conduct a thorough and complete  CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK on any person who wishes to go onto the range with a firearm after they have completed a Range Usage Application and Safety Rules.  Read the information under Range Rates on the Pre Visit Form and the Download Range Usage Application. 

Any person with a CRIMINAL HISTORY, FELONY CONVICTIONS, MULTIPLE MISDEMEANOR CONVICTIONS or that CANNOT LEGALLY PURCHASE OR POSSESS A FIREARM "HANDGUN OR LONG GUN" UNDER STATE OR FEDERAL LAW is denied range use or any sales. 

Any person having the appearance or suspected of being associated with any type of  GANG ACTIVITY is denied entrance.  

Any ALIEN that does not possess LEGAL DOCUMENTATION WITH PHOTO at the front entrance is denied entrance, range use or any sales. 

We control and regulate a safe and respectable clientele inside our facility and on the range providing our customers with a SAFE and SECURE ENVIRONMENT.  

• ALL FIREARMS COMING IN WILL BE COMPLETELY UNLOADED INCLUDING MAGAZINES FOR SEMI AUTOS AND SECURED IN A CARRY CASE OR RANGE BAG.

• If you do not have a carry case we stock them for you to purchase before you are allowed to enter with a firearm.  

 CALIBERS ALLOWED ON THE RANGE:

Handguns: Calibers 22 LR through 44 Mag including 45ACP & 45LC 

Rifles: 22 cartridge and Rifles shooting straight wall pistol cartridge including 30 caliber carbine.
 No High Power Rifle "Bottle Neck Cases"or Black powder Firearms.

Shotguns:  410 Ga - 12 Ga. No Copper Rifle Slugs Allowed.

Ammunition:  All Ammunition coming into Handgunners will be checked by the Range Officer in charge for Iron or Steel Core Bullets.  TulAmmo from Wall Mart, "Wolf Ammunition" or other ammunition that may contain these bullets are not allowed.  Any ammunition that attracts a magnet is not allowed on the range.

Reloaded Ammunition:  Reloaded Ammunition is allowed on the range.  If you reload your ammunition you must first sign a Reloaded Ammunition Agreement to Handguns Inc. before going to the firing line.  No one is allowed to distribute their reloaded ammunition to any other customers while on Handgunners Inc. property.

Brass:  If you purchase ammunition from us the empty brass remains here.  If you bring your ammunition into Handgunners Inc. and you wish to keep your brass you may reclaim your brass only from the firing line.

Targets:  No targets are allowed in from the outside. 

WE NO LONGER ACCEPT CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS.

RANGE RATES

EVERYONE that utilizes our range must first complete a RANGE USAGE APPLICATION in order for us to conduct a CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK and complete the RANGE SAFETY RULES before being permitted onto the firing line. 

• Download and complete the form before arriving to save time if you wish. 

• If you choose to complete your application at Handgunners some extra time may be needed depending on your record and the searching system.

• If you possess a NCCCH Permit present it to the range officer in order to waive the records check.  

• To speed up this process even more follow the instructions highlighted below. 

Complete our new Pre-Visit Form.  Follow the instructions and e mail it to us.  We will perform the check and reply to you with our results.  24 to 48 hours will be needed to process the information. 

If you possess a NC CARRY CONCEALED PERMIT it is not necessary for you to complete the Pre-Visit Form.  Produce your NC CCH Permit and Drivers Licence along with your downloaded and completed Range Usage Application & Safety Rules on your first visit in.

    Range Usage Card: (Pay Per Visit) $25.00 Per Visit.

• Range Time is limited to one hour.  The Card is valid for one year.
• Spouse or child living in your home $20.00 additional per. All children must be at least 12 years old and under 21 living in your home and must occupy the same lane as an adult. No more than two persons may occupy the same lane.
• Must produce, Valid Driver’s License and Range Usage Card upon each visit.   
• No more than two people may occupy the same lane.

     Receive $5.00 off  range fee when using our range ammunition and no ammunition is brought in.  Please view our Range Ammunition Prices under Range Information on this web site.

• Guest: Bring a friend as a guest for $20.00 range time. (1 time introductory visit).  Any Ammo that is brought in from the outside by guest, range fee is $25.00.  ALL GUEST  must read the four yellow posters before entering the building.  Must complete a Range Usage Application and Safety Rules before going on the firing line.  Download and complete before arrival if possible.  The member is responsible for their guest’s behavior and good standing.  Any problems with your guest could result in your membership being revoked on the spot.
  If your guest becomes a member on the day of their visit while you are present we will advance your membership one month immediately.

     Law Enforcement Range Fee: $20.00 "If your Department qualifies here"

                                                             $25.00 "If your Department does not."  

• Officer employed by a department that performs their yearly BLET firearms qualification at Handgunners Inc. Receive unlimited amount of range time per visit.
  
• Must present current Department's ID and Range Usage Card at front entrance and to the range officer.
• Must complete a Range Usage/Membership Application and Safety Rules.  Download and complete these to save you some time when you come in.
• Spouse and Children at least 12 years old and under 21 living in your home additional $20.00 per. Spouse or children are required to complete a Range Usage Application and the Range Operation & Safety Rules. Must occupy the same lane as an adult.  No more than two people may occupy the same lane.
