   CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN CERTIFICATION CLASS

We have been teaching the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Training Class since December 1995

Our staff at Handgunners, Inc. instruct the North Carolina Concealed Carry Certification Classes (CCW Class or Carry Concealed Class).  With many years of  experience in law enforcement and firearms training, we are able to share with you our experiences.

Our experiences help you to truly understand what is necessary in order to properly, safely handle and legally conceal a handgun under North Carolina Law.

During our NC Concealed Carry Class we respond to questions from people who've had near deadly encounters and experiences that have lead them to our class.  We assist you by answering in detail even the most difficult questions enabling you to make the correct decision during a potential threat.

We especially emphasize in detail the North Carolina Statutory Law in the Use Of Deadly Physical Force Against an Intruder at your home or business premises.  We believe that our students should have the confidence and a good working knowledge of this law in great detail when they complete our class.  We believe that our students should be prepared to possibly encounter an intruder or multiple intruders at their home after completion of the class if necessary.  Surviving the attack.

From our law enforcement  background we can truly offer this valuable knowledge, advice and instruction to you. We also provide important recommendations on the necessary insurance coverage, legal representation, proper weapons and ammunition.  We believe that when you leave our class you should leave with confidence and a good working knowledge enabling you to legally and properly protect yourself or your family immediately.  By truly knowing the laws and rules established by the state of North Carolina on Concealed Carry  (CCW) as well as being tested on your firearms knowledge, abilities and marksmanship skills you will be successfully.  Surviving the attack.

Some of the other NC Concealed Carry Instructors can not offer this level of instruction.

After your NC Concealed Carry (CCW) class, our staff at Handgunners can help you with recommendations on a firearms purchase, defensive ammunition or other shooting accessories and equipment.  We can help you with further training or recommendations on practice.

 YOU MUST BE A BORN UNITED STATES AMERICAN CITIZEN TO ENTER THIS NC CONCEALED CARRY CLASS.

Handgunners NC Concealed Carry ClassClass Includes:

  • HANDGUN PARTS & FUNCTION
  • AMMUNITION TYPES
  • GUN SAFETY & SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS
  • THE "CONCEALED CARRY HANDGUN LAW"
  • PROVISIONS UNDER NC COMMON LAW IN WHICH THE USE OF DEADLY FORCE WOULD BE JUSTIFIED
  • STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A WRITTEN EXAMINATION ON THE CCH LAWS & PROVISIONS ON NC COMMON LAW DEALING WITH DEADLY FORCE
  • STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO FIRE AND PASS A HANDGUN PROFICIENCY COURSE OF FIRE
     

THIS COURSE DOES NOT TEACH A PERSON HOW TO SHOOT.

PEOPLE WITH VERY LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE SHOULD CONSIDER A BASIC HANDGUN SAFETY & AWARENESS CLASS PRIOR TO TAKING THE CCH CLASS. See the class information, times and dates under Basic Handgun Safety & Awareness Class.  Call us if needed. 

COST $75.00. Pre-registration form is required.

ITEMS NEEDED FOR CLASS:

  • A handgun that you are very familiar with and that is very reliable.
  • 50 rounds of quality range ammunition.
  • Note taking material.  Note pad, pen, highlighter.
  • Bring your lunch with you.
  • We supply class information handouts, targets, ear & eye protection.

REGISTRATION:

Open the Class Schedule and look for the next available class date and time.  Download and complete a registration form.  

Please go to our FORMS page to download the NC Concealed Carry Class registration from from our web site.

Complete the form.  Check the NC Concealed carry Class.

Mail the registration form and payment into Handgunners Inc. NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Due to the growing problems with insufficient funds and canceled checks Handgunners Inc. will now only accept money orders via mail for any class pre registration .  All pre registration forms and payment must be received five business days prior to pre scheduled class.  We will contact you when we receive your registration and confirm you are registered for your class.

If you decide to change your class date after you have submitted your registration and we have acknowledged it there will be a $10.00  Transfer Fee for the next available class.

Your registration must be received if by mail 5 business days prior to class date.
